The Premier12 Tournament begins to wind down to semifinal and final rounds now in minor league baseball as we are just a week away from the beginning of another winter league down under in Australia!

On a day where Latin winter leagues all had the day off, the Premier12 tourney took center stage in minor league baseball, and there were some excellent performances Monday in that tournament!

Today is Veteran's Day here in the United States, and for all those who have served and are serving, thank you for your selfless sacrifice. Heading into a very quiet Monday, minor league baseball put on a host of great shows across multiple leagues in play this offseason!

Thirty years ago today, the Berlin Wall came down, a significant event that altered the world's political, social, and economic direction. A number of people have identified that event as the day baseball really began to spread across Eastern Europe and into some of the last Western Asian/Eastern European holds in the world that had not really been touched by the great game yet. Now we get to enjoy something like the Premier12 Tournament, highlighting the best in minor league baseball and throughout the world!

After today, the Premier12 tournament will be taking a few days off to prepare for the next round, but minor league baseball is currently carried by the impressive play in Latin winter leagues, so keep your eyes there!

The first round of the Premier12 Tournament wraps up today in minor league baseball, with the semifinals coming next week. Meanwhile, Venezuelan winter ball has hit the ground running and a power display highlighted the games in the Dominican and Mexico on Wednesday.

With the Venezuelan Winter League kicking off and the Premier12 tourney really getting underway, Minor League Baseball has really put some of its best young players on display to keep baseball fans' appetite for the game fed for the next few months!
