Thirty years ago today, the Berlin Wall came down, a significant event that altered the world’s political, social, and economic direction. A number of people have identified that event as the day baseball really began to spread across Eastern Europe and into some of the last Western Asian/Eastern European holds in the world that had not really been touched by the great game yet.
