With the rookie and short-season leagues starting up, there will be a bit of a change to the format. Many have asked how I determine who makes the cut for each list. I’ve had a general cut off for hitters, but I’m going to be more firm on things as we add in rookie leagues simply to keep things manageable for time. For hitters, 3 hits will always be required, but hitters must have one of 2 extra-base hits, 4 times on base, or 4 stolen bases in a game. With pitchers, they must go at least 3 innings, and earned runs will be based on innings – 3-4 innings…
